Fine Arts

  • visual arts: all students in Kindergarten to grade 9 receive regular instruction
  • music: our elementary students are taught by our music specialist two times per week.  In addition, elementary students (and teachers), produce an annual musical Spring Program

 Student Achievement Award

  • All junior high students are eligible for our Student Achievement Award that is awarded at the end of each school year.  Students qualify for the award in one of two ways:
  •   Maintain an overall average of 80% or higher for each of the three terms
  •   Improve their overall average in each of the three terms
  • This approach was taken rather than a traditional honor roll as we recognize a diversity of gifts and abilities among our student body.  For some students, maintaining an 80% average is not an achievable goal, but steady and consistent improvement is possible
  • Students qualifying for the award are given a certificate and a small gift
